The T-5 Army Airborne type static line assembly was used during the Normandy Invasion in 1944. Vintage Parachutes reproductions include the white or olive drab harness, original hardware typical military pack labelings and other militaty spec requirements.
Some of the early 1940's parachute harnesses used "Bayonet" type hardware that was later changed to the more commonly known "Parachute Snap" of which a form of it is still in use today.
The seat pack was used extensively by the US Navy and Army Air Force fighter pilots. There were several parachute companies during WW-II that manufactured for the war effort, such as Automotive Fibers, Inc., American Lady Corset Co., Fashion Frocks, Reliance, Irvin, Switlik, and others.  Vintage Parachutes manufactures other items as well, such as the "Griswold Bag" and "Aviator's Kit Bag"
